The Ipswich Art Association is a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the arts in Ipswich. Our purpose is to support, empower and advocate for all creative and performing arts and artists in Ipswich in order to:
 

IGNITE an interest in, enhance community access to, and encourage engagement with the arts.
 

CREATE art, ideas, and resources to live a more creative life.
 

SUPPORT and intensify the artistic aspirations of association members by funding and producing local opportunities for educational and professional development, which might include mentorships, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, scholarships and residencies.
 

BUILD a platform to display and promote the visual and performing artwork of association members.
 

PROMOTE and celebrate the artistic diversity of Ipswich, Essex County and contiguous counties through accessibility, collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.
 

WORK in partnership with our town arts institutions, funding agencies, neighbors, businesses and others to achieve a common goal of a vibrant, healthy creative economy that enhances community life in Ipswich.
